The feet are one of the most active parts of one's body. Your feet bear the brunt of your activities throughout the day, from the time you wore those high heeled stilettos for that party or the time when you spent the entire day shopping, no matter how hard your feet hurt! The foot is therefore often neglected as far as foot care is concerned. When was the last time you had that very important pedicure done?

Tips for Foot Care: If you have tired and aching feet, the most effective foot care option would be to soak these in a tub of cold water. You can even keep your feet under running water to relieve the ache. Washing your feet regularly, especially when you come from the outdoors, will help to keep them clean and free from infection. Use sun block on your feet just as you would do for the rest of the body, when you are at the beach. Keep a can of foot spray handy. These can give a cooling effect for the feet.



Always ensure that you have enough blood circulation for your feet as well. Follow the points mentioned below for the same: Lie down at a right angle to the wall. Have a homemade pedicure done with the following steps: Firstly, soak your feet in warm water. Add some salt to the water. Then, with the help of a pumice stone, exfoliate the dead skin by scrubbing gently. Rinse and pat the feet dry. Remove any traces of nail enamel and file you nails gently. Take some quantity of foot cream and massage this gently into the skin. Then, wrap your feet in plastic bags and leave the cover on for at least 15 minutes.
